To successfully strengthen families, community leaders, agencies, and families must work together to make lasting improvements.  Working together provides greater opportunities to identify strategies for ensuring that all parents in the community have the skills, support, and resources they need to care for their children.  An investment in children is an investment in the community and economic development for the future of our state.  And when families are supported, children are more likely to grow up happy and healthy, free from the risk of child abuse and neglect.
